My child has a nut allergy. Are nuts allowed at Hex&Co? 

No. Hex&Co.’s Enrichment Programs are nut-free zones. Nothing with peanuts or tree nuts is allowed to be eaten in our designated area while programming is running. Examples of tree nuts include, but are not limited to, walnut, almond, hazelnut, cashew, pistachio, and Brazil nuts. 

Can my child sign themselves in and out? 

Yes. Students in our program are allowed to arrive and self-dismiss on their own as long as we have written permission from a parent or guardian. This can come in the form of an advance notice sent by email or can be selected as part of our online registration form. 

Does Hex&Co. have a Lost & Found? 

Yes. All lost articles will be kept for a period of at least 30 days, and Hex & Co. will attempt to return articles that contain identification. Useful articles of clothing left unclaimed will be donated to local charitable organizations. Hex & Co. assumes no responsibility whatsoever for the care and/or protection of any personal belongings left unattended on our property and for loss, under any circumstances, including theft, vandalism, or malicious mischief of such belongings. Food and other perishable items will be disposed of. 

Is there a grace period for student dismissal? 

Yes. At dismissal time, families will be given a 15-minute grace period for picking up their student. Families picking up after this time will be charged $10 for Late Dismissal. An additional $10 will be charged for every additional 15 minutes of lateness ($20 for 30 minutes, $30 for 45 minutes, etc.) 

Can I get a refund? We are going to miss a session.

If your child is going to miss a session, please give us as much advance notice as possible so we can plan our sessions and inform instructors accordingly. Please send all cancellation and absence notices by email to [email protected]. 

For missed weekend sessions, if notice is given at least 14 days before the day of the session, credit will be issued to your account to be used for future registrations. The credit will be equal to the full price paid for the session. Credits expire on December 31st of the current year. If notice is given less than 7 days before the day of the camp session, credit will be issued equal to half of the price paid for the session missed. Credits expire on December 31st of the current year. 

If notice is given less than 48 hours before 9 AM on the day of the session, instead of a class credit, we can offer 4 Gameplay Passes to be used as admission to table play at any of our locations.

Can my child buy food or games while at Hex&Co.? 

Yes, students are allowed to buy food or beverages from the store or cafe only during weekend programming while in the care of Hex&Co.’s Enrichment Programs. 

Can my child bring their own cards or dice to use at Hex&Co.? 

Yes. Students are welcome to bring their own RPG supplies, such as dice or a mini figure, for their RPG weekend sessions. Hex & Co. assumes no responsibility whatsoever for the care and/or protection of any personal belongings left unattended on our property and for loss, under any circumstances, including theft, vandalism, or malicious mischief of such belonging.
